A high-speed disperser handles the actual breakdown of clumps, agglomerates, and pigment that hasn't wetted out yet. The third shaft is the one you pick based on what you're mixing: swap it out for a screw, a butterfly blade, or an emulsifier depending on the formulation.
The third shaft is available in four configurations: a screw for axial flow and bottom-to-top circulation, a butterfly-type blade for gentle folding action, an emulsifier for fine particle reduction and stable emulsions, or a multi-layer inclined blade for enhanced radial and axial mixing in taller batches.
